POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting with small group instruction of students; assisting with a special education student in classroom and other activities. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides instructional assistance in small groups at the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher.
2. Plans and assembles instruction materials for use in small groups.
3. Provides one-on-one assistance in academics with a special education student.
4. Provides general clerical assistance to the classroom teachers.
5. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Education
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum Experience
• Less than one year
